Tokyo Science Fiction stories consists of 7 video works produced in Tokyo and Nara.
Seidler was nominated as one out of 6 commisioned architects and artists to present new works produced in Japan for the Danish Gold Medal Competition year 2005.
Scissors show Girls walking in the darkness of a park. They walk in the rain with each their color of umbrella and a film lamp to find their way. A group of deer follow them around. The young women act as a quire telling an uncanny tale of a house haunted by a giant scissor. The story was found during filmed improvisations by Japanese science fiction writers.
The artvideo Scissors was later on shown at a new event at Den Frie where Scissors was presented in an installation; a traditional Japanese room made of guache painted paper screens with motives of the young female actors and the deer in the film.
